	Privacy Policy

We respect your privacy. Those are four very important words. They are important to you, and important to us. In case you are in any doubt as to what that means, we'll elaborate.

Before moving to Western New York we operated in the Isle of Man which, in common with many European countries, has Data Protection legislation. Accordingly, we were registered under the Isle of Man Government's Data Protection Act. If you'd like to see what that means, you can visit the site of the Manx Government's Office of the Data Protection Registrar.

The Manx Data Protection Registrar recommends that outline policy details are given in 7 key areas. That approach makes sense and, as privacy is equally important everywhere, we've maintained a similar breakdown of our own policy. Plus we've added a couple of extra areas, just to make our policy absolutely clear.

As further evidence that our Privacy Policy is correctly focused, the principles we have followed over the years are fully in line with the 7 principles of the Safe Harbor Privacy Policy drawn up by the US Department of Commerce.



		Privacy Policy Statement Any personal information supplied by you will be used for no other purpose than that explicitly stated on the screen, form or paperwork on which it was supplied. Under no circumstances will your personal data be sold to, disclosed to or shared with any other organization or individual without your consent. The information supplied will not be used to send you unsolicited emails. We do not track your online activity. We do not place any persistent code on your computer. We respect your privacy.
		Statement of Practices Information is collected purely for the purposes of doing business according to your requests. Information is collected only through submission by you. Occasionally we may need to use information that is available through publicly available records to supplement the information provided by you. Information will be retained only as long as is appropriate.

		Usage of Cookies You have the option of displaying a full navigation panel on the left of the screen. If you select this option then we will need to place a cookie on your computer. The cookie is temporary and is automatically deleted as soon as you leave our site. It is known as a 'session cookie' and it will not remain on your computer after you have left our site. The cookie contains nothing more than your preference for the display format whilst viewing our pages. It does not contain any information about you or your computer. It is non-persistent. It is not used to track anything. It is simply to allow us to offer you a small viewing option during that visit.
		Statement of Possible Transfers This is an easy one...None. Your data will not be transferred or disclosed to any other organization or individual. No exceptions. We respect your privacy.
		Statement of Right of Access You have the right to request access to the information about you that we hold. You also have the right to request corrections to the data that we hold about you. (A small charge may be payable to cover administration costs in meeting requests for access but no charge will be made for any corrective work.)
